Knowledge Development Day is a comprehensive, full-day educational event designed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills across various community association fields. The event features six distinct courses, covering the following topics: fair housing, law & regulations, proper tree maintenance, finding little gems that take your community to the next level, reading financials, and best practices during management transitions. In addition to the diverse course offerings, the event includes complimentary lunch and parking, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable experience for all participants. Important:
This education will be held in two separate rooms and running simultaneously. Please see the room details for schedules and content. You do not have to stay in the same room all day. For example: if you do not need Fair Housing but do need Law & Regulation, start in Room 2 in the morning and head to Room 1 for the afternoon session. However, you will need to attend individual sessions in full to receive your full credit.

*These classes also satisfy 2 hours of credit for Fair Housing Training (Common Interest Community Manager) and/or 2 hours of credit for Virginia CIC (Common Interest Community) Law & Regulation Training.

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Buried Treasure - Little Gems, Big Differences! *1 credit
*CMCA Renewal: A full day of education sessions will satisfy 4 total continuing education credits towards your CMCA renewal.
*PCAM Application: A full day of education sessions would count as 5 points towards your PCAM Application. Additionally, it can be combined with any other 2-hour education to count as 10 points towards your PCAM Application.
*PCAM Renewal: This education event does not count towards the renewal of an existing PCAM designation.
